Scope of Work
Within the gallery space of Karabük University – TOBB Technical Sciences Vocational School, existing steel staircases contained construction details that posed safety risks, including wide gaps at landing plates and between stair elements. Our work focused on redesigning and correcting these components to improve safety, usability, and durability. The steel elements were revised, fabricated, and installed on-site to eliminate falling risks and ensure safe circulation within the space.
♦ Site assessment and identification of safety risks in existing steel staircase construction ♦ Redesign and correction of unsafe landing and stair tread details ♦ Elimination of excessive gaps in steel plate flooring and riser elements ♦ Fabrication and on-site installation of revised steel components ♦ Improvement of user safety and compliance with functional requirements
