Scope of Work
Industrial Bonds — Architecture Shaped by Connection
Commissioned by the Board of Trustees of the Karabük Organized Industrial Zone, the project was envisioned as a multi-functional institutional hub integrating administrative offices, a 500-seat conference hall, exhibition and cocktail spaces, seminar rooms, bank and postal units, café-restaurant facilities, and an industrial product testing center.
The architectural concept is inspired by the logic of iron and steel production—bringing independent elements together to form a unified and stronger whole. The building mass is organized into two linear volumes shaped according to the site geometry and positioned with a controlled angular relationship. These volumes open toward the main entrance, creating a generous and welcoming central atrium that serves as a public gathering and exhibition space. Upper-level bridges reinforce spatial continuity and functional integration.
The architectural language is expressed through a triangulated metal envelope referencing the industrial identity of Karabük Demir Çelik. This unifying outer shell consolidates diverse functions under a single institutional identity while maintaining economic rationality and construction efficiency. Large gallery voids, skylight systems, and glazed façades transform the interstitial space into a vibrant interior core, establishing a dynamic yet coherent architectural presence.
