Scope of Work

This project involved the interior architectural redesign and visualization of two apartment typologies (1+1 and 2+1) within the La Vie Residential Project, a housing development by TaşYapı in Karabük.

The original architectural layouts, prepared by another architect, were characterized by minimal spatial dimensions. The design approach focused on reorganizing these constrained plans to create contemporary, minimal, and comfortable living environments without altering the overall structural framework.

Particular attention was given to spatial efficiency, storage integration, and privacy strategies. In the 1+1 unit, a concealed kitchen system — designed as a cabinet-like hidden configuration — was introduced to visually control clutter and maintain spatial order. This solution allowed the living area to preserve its representational quality, especially when hosting guests, while ensuring functional flexibility for single-occupant lifestyles.

Overall, the project aimed to transform limited spatial conditions into clear, functional, and emotionally balanced living spaces, aligning everyday residential use with a refined and contemporary architectural language.
